Nice choice of using selective-desaturation for this photograph. The focus is quite good. Lighting is rather intense, especially upon the petals causing detail to be lost on them. Background is blurred bringing focus to subjects.

Desat works fine.

The whites looks a bit bright on my monitor.

Maybe (Together) should be not so bright, or a light pink .

I also agree with the selective desat working nicely here and the whites being a little bright! I guess you could just say that you and your wife have bright, reflective lives though!

I love selective desats, and this is just fine! I agree with the comments above about things being a bit bright. The petals are a bit exposed and I would have liked to see a bit more of their natural colour.
Still a very nice idea dedicating this to yourself and your wife!
